Visitor's Day Available Online October 8-21, 2018

Visitor's Day is a coming of age story about a 16 year old runaway named Juan Carlos who is working to overcome the trauma of neglect by his father.

At IPODERAC, a unique group home for boys, he undergoes counseling, bonds with 72 new brothers, and gathers up the courage DW_Visitor'sDay_Shareable2_Insta_Streaming.jpegto forgive his father face to face. This is a film about resilience, trauma-informed care and the power of forgiveness. It's also about the ways we can both honor the families we come from and create the families that truly nurture us.

The film had its national broadcast premiere on PBS via the World Channel program Doc World on October 7th and will also stream on WORLD Channel from 10/8 - 10/21 here or through the PBS app.
